Mr. Degelmann started with a commercial apprenticeship and an evening course in business administration. He then followed his curiosity about aviation and held several management positions for a German airline. Later, he discovered the development opportunities and potential of teleshopping. Even then, he demonstrated his extraordinary instinct for trends and successful show formats. But Mr. Degelmann also consistently accompanied the development of the broadcasters into digital and multimedia online retailers.
